Laura leads the Environmental Unit with expertise and dedication, guiding complex projects to completion while focusing on minimizing environmental impacts. With over three decades of experience in the industry, she excels in preparing environmental documentation and permits for surface transportation and aviation projects.

Laura’s career began with hands-on experience in wetland delineations and protected species field surveys. Over the years, she has evolved into a leader in her field where her work is characterized by a deep commitment to environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance.

Thanks to her collaborative approach, Laura maintains positive relationships with numerous transportation and environmental agency professionals. Her educational background includes a Master of Earth and Environmental Resources Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Science. Laura holds certifications from the American Institute of Certified Planners and as an Envision Sustainability Professional.

In addition to serving on various industry boards and committees, Laura and her husband are active in their church and in the community. Outside of the office, you may spot them at a USC event or walking around the city.
