The firm was also selected as an on-call consultant for the next five years to provide design and construction services associated with an apron rehabilitation, AWOS installation, beacon relocation, and ARFF truck acquisition.

Nilesh Surti, PE, joins the firm as Operations Manager/Senior Project Manager in the surface transportation design group, responsible for managing the new Raleigh branch office.

Apron Project at ECG Highlighted in Publication

The recently completed 25,000-square-yard Portland Cement Concrete apron designed by Parrish & Partners for the Elizabeth City Regional Airport (ECG) was the subject of the Carolinas Concrete Paving Association’s Spring 2016 Promotion Spotlight publication. Rebuilding South Carolina Bridges

Following the catastrophic flooding in the fall of 2015, SCDOT initiated an Emergency Bridge Replacement Program to replace damaged bridges throughout the state. To expedite the process, DOT elected to invite selected contractor teams to propose on the various packages. Through its association with Crowder Construction, Lee Construction and KCI, Parrish & Partners is involved in the design of 10 of the 17 bridges that comprise the 6 SCDOT Packages released to date. The replacement of River Road (S-20-101) bridge over Martin Creek was completed and opened to traffic on May 25th.

Ryan Lenda Gives Presentation at ACC Workshop

Parrish & Partners’ Ryan Lenda attended the 2015 Airport Consultants Council (ACC) Airports Technical Workshop (ATW) and was a presenter at the Airports-Geographical Information System (AGIS) – electronic Airport Layout Plan (eALP) session. Specifically, Ryan discussed some of the experiences from the Airport Planner’s point of view in developing and maintaining AGIS databases as well as case studies from several airport sponsors who have already completed the process to glean their lessons learned.
